Oh fuck... So Ann knows Arthur and Eames knows Jack - or maybe they all know each other, and that's part of why Eames and Arthur are the way they are, why they get through barriers with each other no one else does. Maybe they had some kind of bond before, when they were tied in with Jack and Ann, only for whatever reason (inception? something totally new and unexpected?) they don't remember it anymore.
