The hair on the back of my neck is standing up. Strange lights and ghostly music, those I can cope with, no problem, but the huge handprint and the weird bite mark? Spooky. And freaky dolls always make my skin crawl.
Arthur in a hat has always been a delightful idea, but you've managed to make it deliciously creepy. I was only picturing him as a 1920s gangster earlier today, after being reminded of the Valentine's Day Massacre of 1929 - pinstripe suit, fancy hat, spats and a tommy gun. Now you've put the appropriate lingo in his mouth and made me very happy. (The hair's still standing up on the back of my neck though. *g*)
