I so agree that it could just have easily been Cobb jumping off the building. They both seemed stable and obsessive. Cobb's a little like Icarus, you know? :)
YES, I think it's a cool idea that people don't have to always be together to "be together." I like the idea of space and independence. In my mind, this is how I see the two of them.
