I had a thing about Cobb in the movie, too. I felt like he was more selfish than desperate at times and he really irked me. So, I kind of like to use fic to retrofit and explain the frustration. ;)
I have this thing in my head where Eames would be like, "Oh jeez, shot in the head, what an inconvenience. But GOD these people are suck dicks!" I feel like a criminal of his calibre wouldn't take the shooting personally. But that he might take smaller things personally, like invasion of privacy, and stuff. I don't know, it might sound weird when I put it like that. :)
You know, that song came on the radio while I was in the car, thinking about writing the C4 scene (which I wrote last night) and I thought, "Oh wow, I kind of like that!" It might be a little cheesy, but I hope it still worked. :D
I also love the idea of them as equals. Not "boyfriends" or "sweethearts" but truly partners. I'm so glad you get the significance. ^_^ Thank you!
