Again it was a wonderful chapter and the fact the story is (quickly) coming to an end is really a sad one. Anyway: - The Cobb and Mal thing: I have to agree completely with you in that point. No matter how tragic and romantic their love was, there was something unhealthy about it. Spending 50 years only with one person, with nobody else? For me it sounds terrifying, I can’t imagine myself in that kind of situation. Yet, they seemed to be happy only with themselves, no one around them. It’s even somehow strange that Cobb didn’t jump with Mal. Her projection is another proof of how obsessed he was with her. - Freedom in relationships. Maybe it’s not exactly about your story, but I do believe that such thing is necessary, that you don’t have to be with person you love all the time, 24-hours per day. The ability to give another person a free hand it’s extremely important. - Coming back to the story. The creepy river filled with corpses is creepy. And this arm, Arthur grabbed first! You made literally my heart stop for a moment, my imagination showing me a picture of armless Eames. And all this corpses, in various state of decomposition. Sometimes I wish I wouldn’t see so clearly all the things I’m reading about…;D - Eames being angry about Arthur’s destroyed game system is so sweet- it’s somehow ridiculous, there’re more important things destroyed, but it’s also so human. We’re not a reasonable creatures and this game system is a great example of how mundane Arthur’s life could be, that he could spend evening just playing games, like many people on the world. The problem is that nobody will destroy their game systems… - Arthur hacking Cobb’s phone is priceless. I imagined him, with a smirk on his face, as he’s choosing a proper song and his eyes are just shinning with joy. So, as always, a wonderful job! I’d say I looking forward for next chapter (and I am), but well… I don’t like the idea of it being the last one. Hopefully you have as much fun writing, as we reading, because it give me hope that you’ll write something more. I don’t think it’s possible to get tired of your version of all “boys” P.S. And you managed not the left us with cruel cliffhanger this time! Congratulations!;D
