I'm really glad that Cobb's perspective worked. :) I put more of him into the last part, though it may be a little schmoopy. I somehow lose all restraint at the end of stories. :)

Re: Brick: I think that maybe even subconsciously, everything I write is the same 'verse. Sometimes I guess I do make reference to that. Brick is one of my favorite films and it's so easy for me to envision a kid like Brenden growing up to be a man like Arthur. You know, kind of a smartass, too good at what he does, thinks around corners, trouble finds him. I never want to blatantly state that because I like fanfiction to sort of remain open. If people don't want to read a crossover, then this doesn't have to be. :) Kinda like that.
Awesome that you re-watched Brick. I recently read a theory (that Rian Johnson wouldn't confirm nor deny) that Brain wasn't actually real, and was really just Brenden's thought process. O_O Cool, huh?
