Wooo, awesome, thank you so much! :) I just love writing that sort of dialogue. :D I'm just glad that it doesn't sound too silly or forced. I could see Cobb being a little defensive over his birds. In the movie, he obviously didn't have much chance to be anything other than someone in mourning, and desperate. He'd have to have some kind of sense of humor, I'd think. :D
