Happy holidays and BB nerves!

Hey everyone! I just want to pop on in here and tell you all I hope you're having a great holiday season, if that's your thing.

And, wow, I am so nervous about the Big Bang. I'm really sweating this one; there is so much pressure and I'm not totally happy with the fic. Is it too long? Too short? Does not enough stuff happen? Does too much stuff happen? Is it too much like everything else I've written? Or too much of a departure? So far it's kind of messy. I think I do work better when I have to get things out there quickly. Maybe I'm overthinking this one.

Anyway. NERVOUS. Palms-sweating kind of nervous.

I'm pretty sure you're probably overthinking it. I'm looking forward to it regardless. As a reader, I believe I have to take what I get and read it on it's own merits - not compare it to what's gone before. Fret less. ♥

Nooo, shush. I literally re-read all of Plenty of Good Thieves like a week ago. So just shush, your writing is wonderful. I've spent the last few months just staring at all my half-started, unfinished writing projects that just don't want to talk to me anymore, so I've not been writing anything at all really. And its hard. Holidays are good though. Hannukah started tonight. But strange is good. Let things feel strange. Embrace the strange, you'll do fine.

I will try to embrace the strange. I write every day, sometimes it's okay, sometimes it falls flat. Tomorrow I'm going to go through this 40K+ word monster of a BB and try ti spice it up, switch things around etc. I reread some of my old stuff to and I'm thinking, "Hmm, this isn't as good as the old stuff." Maybe I'm just freaking out a bit. I guess we'll see next month! :D
